I have had the Comanche for about a week and love it. Last night after start up and while taxiing I noticed that the brakes would not work and the flaps would not come down. The flap handle in the cockpit worked as normal. I tried to take off and after applying full power and the the tach blasted by the normal limit and blew the engine. I did the complete overhaul and all of these items are still happening. Is there something else I need to do to reset the aircraft. My flight controls are working fine with other FSX aircraft including other A2A models.
Thanks,
Marty

Hello Marty,
are you using any new software, any changes with your setup?
Did you do a pre-flight walk around to check the aircraft is fit for flight?
Is it an FSX load issue and reproducible after a system restart or just a one off?
thanks,
Lewis

Everything seemed to be fine with it. No new software other than A2A 182, but the Comanche was doing this before the 182 purchase. Same stuff today except after doing the complete overhaul the brakes won't release. Parking brake handle is in the off position. I'm going to just reload the aircraft and see what happens. Thanks

Re: Power Setting, Gear and Brakes Inop
Glad to hear, so it was just a singular flight load issue. Remember sometimes flights become corrupt so you should regular change them up and not always load one flight.
thanks,
Lewis
