Assigning Attitude Pitch Trim

Post by Chris29 »

Hello all,
I would like to assign the " attidude pitch trim " to a rotary encoder ( VRi multi switch panel ), but I do not find that lvar;
all the other buttons, switches and axes are working fine, as I found them in the A2A Comanche variable list.
Is there an lvar for that function?

BTW: I do not use LINDA

Thanks for any input and best regards

Chris

Hello Chris,

I don't think there's a custom L:Var you need to use for the elevator trim crank. Instead, you could try using the x0BC0 offset in FSUIPC. For instance, here's an example of how this offset can be used with the SWORD increment/decrement method. You can adjust the figure before the "/" in the "parameter" value to tune the amount that the trim crank moves with each notch of your rotary encoder.

Cheers,
Nick

Hey Chris,

Did you ever get a resolution on this? I'm trying to do the same thing.
