Prepar3D V3 and A2A Aircraft Sound & Other Issues

I have Prepar3D Ver 3 (latest update). When I load either the Comanche, Cherokee or Cessna 182, the aircraft have no sound, I can move switches but no sound is made. The battery switch activates but no sound. Ctrl + E does not start the engines. Moving the arrow keys on the keyboard does not move the control yoke. The maintenance hangar on the Cherokee displays a lot of damage, but clicking the Complete Overhaul button does nothing. The sim is not paused and if I load a different aircraft (Carenado Seminole) everything is fine.

I am running V2 of the Chrokee and ran the A2A updater again (01_17_17) which was downloaded in February.

What's going on? Anyone?

Hi Denny - welcome to the forums.

Sounds like you don't have the SimConnect client installed - it comes with P3D but isn't installed by default. Please see the advice below from the FAQ thread.

P3D - Installed but nothing works and all is broken!?

P3DV2 sometimes wont install the required simconnect files. No worries though as they are provided by Lockheed in the following directory;
\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\redist\Interface\FSX-SP2-XPACK\retail\lib

Just double-click the SimConnect.msi installer in this location to install the client which should allow the Accu-Sim modules to interface with P3D.
