Autopilot Issue

Post by mamock »

Have just tried the Comanche after system build and can't get the autopilot to work - it comes on when I click the master and then all the lights go out again. I'm using latest P3D build with Chaseplane and F1 GTN750 installed.

I seem to remember having this issue a while ago and there was a fix but I can't find it. I'm only using the mouse to select modes/switches etc Last time I had it all working I was using ezdok. Any help appreciated.

Cheers
Mike

Hello,

first thing to check after a reinstall is have you updated with the latest Accu-sim updater?

thanks,

Hi Lewis,

Yes I have latest update.

I'm sure I had this problem before but I can't remember what the solution was or what it was caused by.

Have reinstalled Comanche and still no auto pilot with or without F1 GTN 750.

When I load Cherokee/172/182 everything works.

Anybody have any idea what is going on?

Cheers,
Mike

When you load the latest updater are you removing the old updater folder so it can run and update the Comanche.

Are you turning the AP on with the mouse or external hardware?

Yes removed folder etc.
Tried to uninstall from control panel but it said it wasn't installed. So I deleted the folder in p3d rebooted and reinstalled again + updated. Still not working - it was testing all the lights when I turned on the master but they were all going out after - no ready light.
Noticed HSI circuit breaker was out so reset that plus auto pilot breaker on /off a few times and retested again and the ready light stayed on, so hopefully all is back to normal now. Don't really know why I had this issue.

Thanks for your help.

Cheers,
Mike

Hi people,
This is not an autopilot problem as such, But is there anyway when I'm cheating & using the A/P GPS (whilst AFK) the turns could be steeper in both the Comanche & Cherokee ?

Lewis,

Are you referring to the folder that says..."Update_fsx" for that particular aircraft ? Which would be in each aircraft for A2A.

Thank you Lewis....

By the way all I did to remove the folder was to just delete it... Right click delete.

yes that should be good, next time you run the latest update it will detect no update folder and so think its totally v1.0 and update accordingly.

thanks
