Hope it works out for Jonathan, but to be honest EZdok can be a bit of a pain in the arse to set up.

I'll try and help out if you have further problems, but for general issues you're probably better off going to the EZdok forums where there's a very helpful guy called Kev (Simperfi) who seems to have taken over tech support from the developer.

Cheers,
Nick

Did you run the "EZCA Config" utility afterwards, and if so did it indicate it was making changes to various files?

Hi Nick (thanks)
Yes I immediately ran the config tool and it seemed to be doing its thing, playing around with files etc. And I get a message saying it has completed.
when I load the aircraft at an airport I use the middle mouse button with the arrow keys on my keyboard to pan outside the aircraft but again half of it was missing and with no wheels.

Hi Jonathan - sorry for the slightly delayed responses here but I'm trying to multitask! (cooking dinner!) :)

Not really sure what the issue is here I'm afraid, so yeah, I'd suggest the F1 forums if you're having problems with EZdok and all your aircraft in FSX. The partial views are caused by the software showing you a view of the internal model (.MDL) file when you should be seeing the external one.

Havnt seen it mentioned - but have you installed as ''admin'' ? (right click the installer and select ''run as administrator'')

Could explain why files arnt been writen to the right place - or rather if your trying to install into Program files, without admin rights, it wont let you.

Your pc see's program files as essential files for the system to run correctly, and without admin rights the pc thinks your just a casual user who may not know what your doing, hence it wont over right these files, as they may become broken and wont allow windows to start.

Setting your PC user account up with admin right tells the pc to let you do what you want, and you know what your doing.

I would reccomend installing outside of program files as it just makes life easyier in the long run, EX: c:\P3D, but for now, going into control panel/user accounts/ account type and selecting administrator should do.

.........

So, uninstall again, restart, do the user account change.
Re-run the installer via right click - run as admin.

Hope that helps.

Hi Luke, Nick.

Well its all been very strange really,
I tried again this morning and all seems fine!!!!
I have no idea why all of a sudden everything is as it should be with EZDOK.
Maybe it was a bit tired last night!!!
Anyway thanks very much.

The best tweaks for P3D is none. It doesn't need any.
