Hello,
I bought the Comanche 250 a few weeks ago (order 114388 Monday 17 October, 2016). I had to reinstall it recently and since it does not start any more: after 0 hours of flight the propeller is destroyed and there are oil leaks. I began again the installation, used auto start and reset button. Without result. After returning to the hangar propeller is out and oil is leaking ....
Thank you very much for an explanation.
Best regards
gerod
Nota : I have also the A2A c172sp and no problem was observed after the new installation.

Hi and welcome to the forums,
Make sure you have SP2 installed, if you use the original box edition of FSX.

Re: Problem for starting the comanche 250
Hello,
Thank you for answering. I have SP2 and after my first installation everything was OK. Since I did a complete reinstallation of FSX starting from the basic version and adding SP1 and SP2 after. All my others products (some sceneries ORBX, some aircrafts Carenado) are working well. With the A2A C172 also all is perfect. I don't understand where the problem is coming from. It's true that my configuration is pretty medium (hp6730s W7) but it was working with it a few weeks ago.

Re: Problem for starting the comanche 250
Hi Gerod,
You probably need to 'force' the updater to run by deleting the following file...
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\A2A\Comanche250\Update_fsx\client.wyc
...And then running the most recent Accu-Sim update again.
If this doesn't solve the issue, I'd suggest you open the Comanche in the sim and click "RESET" in the shift 3 menu to delete the current *log.dat file.
Also, make sure you don't have the Comanche selected as part of your default flight in FSX.
Cheers,
Nick

Yes I think Nick is correct sounds like you'll want to get rid of the update folder and re-run the updater
thanks,
Lewis

Re: Problem for starting the comanche 250
Hello,
Thank you very much. I did what you explained and now everything is OK with the Comanche 250. For updating again I ran the file 'A2A_update_10_03_15' resulting in version 2.18 for the Comanche. Is this the last one (I have a doubt because of the date associated to the file) ?
Before updating I activated the reset button and then the flight time was 0. For testing these modifications my flight was only a few minutes long (just a circuit) and the new flight time in the hangar was about 4 hours. I guess there is a reason.
Thank you again

Re: Problem for starting the comanche 250
The latest update is 5_9_16 at the time of writing Gerod, available here: http://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtop ... 23&t=41279. You should just be able to run it in the usual way without having to delete the contents of the 'update' folder first.
It's worth checking back every few months as A2A issue new versions from time to time.
Not sure about the 4 hours thing to be honest.
Cheers,
Nick
