I have SP2 installed, and I've updated / repaired it. Still the same issue.

How do I start a refund request for this?

Thank you

Have you run a reinstall of the Comanche, it sounds like your FSX installation is heavily corrupt if the aircraft and Accu-feel are not working for you. It also means that any future product you buy that heavily uses simconnect has a chance of failing. Rather than ignore the issue I would really advise you to repair the issue before the sim continues to cause issues for you moving forward.

OK, so when I try to install SP2, it says:

...cannot be installed because MFS X Acceleration in already installed. All features in MFS X SP2 are included in MFS X Acceleration Pack...

Yes,

New FSX install (acceleration)
reinstalled the aircraft

still having the same problem.

I've sent in my Dr report to A2A about two weeks ago...

Still no resolution.

Again, how do I start a refund for this aircraft?

Thank you

Hello,

the Dr report is only on request and we dont need it in this case as its going to be something very simple. Have you remapped the shift + 2,3,4,5 etc commands in FSX to other buttons or cleared the mappings?

Upon the reinstall of FSX did you delete all traces post uninstall and restart the system?

Is your system all updated with the latest Direct X9 here;

Simconnect is included on the FSX Acceleration Pack disks but is not necessarily installed by default - it's part of the SDK. It should be installed manually if it was not included as part of the basic setup of your simulator.

You should have Simconnect installed. If you haven't, its probably because Visual C+ + 2005 or later isn't installed

I've linked you simconnect in a previous post. In order to help troubleshoot the issue we will need to know you are following the instructions given otherwise it will result in frustration for yourself. Any issues or questions following along please just ask and we can move at whatever pace you need.

Simconnect; http://a2asimulations.com/public/downlo ... onnect.msi

You will want to run this file and then restart the computer.

Lewis, I have followed the instructions, and the issue is still happening--The aircraft is still unusable. What is our next step? The pace I need/want is to finish this troubleshooting today.

Thank you

Hello it sounds like a core sim issue you are having if a system restart and a simconnect isnt working but you are saying the shift + 2,3,4,5 etc works on the default aircraft. Have you tried reinstalling the entire sim following the correct procedure of uninstall, manual removal, system restart and then step by step reinstall?

Lewis

I did a complete fresh install of FSX before I installed the A2A aircraft. This is the only aircraft I'm having issues with--no other add on aircraft are causing problems.

Again, at this point, I'd like a refund. How do we process my request?

Thank you

Fire me a PM, but given the issue you describe its a definite core platform issue, mostly likely due to an incorrect installation/update of the platform. A reinstall of the sim will fix the issue for user who encounter FSX corruption 99.9% of the time.
