Hello Blauman, there are no 2d panels in the A2A aircraft. All have detailed 3d cockpits.

Thank you for your replies. According to the A2A Comanche 250 Pilot's Manual (pg94)
-------------------
2D PANELS
The 2D panels are there to provide the extra functionality
needed when there is so much additional information
available to you, the pilot.
Each 2D panel is accessed by the key-press combination
in parentheses after the 2D panel title.
--------------------
Those "2D panels" are not available to me.

Your help is appreciated.

Thank you

Hi.
Shift+2/shift+3 ectra ,these give things like walkarounds , hangar maint , pilot notes , and shift+3 allows you to select aircraft on jacks , if checking the gear retraction and such , and also cold/dark can be set .
These 2d popups do not show untill you hit shift+2 ectra shift +5 is your nav map.
Once you get used to this aircraft or any A2A aircraft , you will fall in love with them , they are addictive aircraft , that need to be handled correctly.

Right, I'm not able to see those panels (Mx, walkaround, etc...)

Any idea how to fix this error?

Thank you

The manual references the panels as 2D panels. I can not view them, and I can not figure out how to remove the pitot cover before flight, as the 2D panels that have the option to remove the cover I'm unable to view. Thus the aircraft is not usable for me.

Any suggestions?

Thank you

If you are using FSX, you can try checking in your display settings screen to make sure that the 2-D panel transparency is turned down. If they are fully transparent, you won't be able to see them

Thank you, I did, that is not the problem. The aircraft is still unusable.

Hello,

Does the shift + panels work in any of your FSX aircraft?

If not you maybe have remapped the controls to open them as its a default command.

Also it could be a simconnect issue, in which case you will want to download and run this, then restart your system;

Thank you for your reply Lewis

There are no issues with other aircraft--only this A2A one. I followed your directions, and it still does not work. I guess at this point I'd like ask for a refund. Can you help me with this request?

Thank you

Hello Ric,

do the panels work with other aircraft and you have run the simconnect and restarted your system?

There no outstanding issues with this so its going to be a very simple system issue at your end we can sort out. Just need as much information as you can give about your setup.

Yes, and yes.

64 Bit Windows 10 Home, FSX Gold Edition, i7 2.8ghz, 8GB RAM, NVIDIA GTX 550Ti.

Not sure what else you need.

I even reinstalled the aircraft, and ran the latest A2A update.

Thank you

Ric

Hi.
FSX gold , did that come with accelleration , if not you will need to either install accelleration , or update FSX to sp1 and 2.

Hello,

yes your FSX will need to be updated to SP2 standard (Using either FSX SP1+2 or FSX:Acceleration expansion) to meet the requirements and this would explain why the 2d panels are not working for you. Reinstalling the aircraft wont change this or fix a simconnect issue with the host platform.

Can you confirm your FSX is all updated and if it is run a repair as the SP2 might not be correctly applied or corrupt. This has been known to happen for some FSX users.
