gps/ radio llumination

Post by mevans »

Noticed that the gps buttons and the radio lettering do not illuminate at night. The c172, c182 and Cherokee all do. Is this correct?

Mike

Mike - I think maybe A2A forget to connect a wire when they installed the GPS in the Comanche. You brought this up in a previous topic.

Maybe the A2A guys could confirm if there's an issue here with the GPS backlighting texture which could be addressed?

Cheers,
Nick

Hi.
I have just tried my aircraft, there is no direct background lighting to the radio equipment , but if you turn on the cockpit RED roof light, it illuminates them enough to see them.

Thank you all for your replies confirming no back illumination to the radios, just wondering why the gps buttons do not illuminate as it is the same unit GNS 400 as the others.

Mike
