Helly there,
i have just installed P3D V3 Acad. on my "D"-Drive due to a space related issue on the standard "C"-Drive. After installing the commanche, everything was shot and red and not repairable when visiting the hangar. I also searched both drives for the .bak files and found nothing.
Can someone please help me out with this?
Thank you all!
Regards,
Denis

Hi Denis,
Just be clear, when you say "SinConnect installed" you ran the "FSX-SP2-XPACK" version of the SimConnect.msi as shown here did you?
Also, did you uninstall and then reinstall P3D and the Comanche in the normal way via Windows?
Thanks,
Nick

Hello,
it sounds like you haven't run the simconnect install and then restarted your computer.
thanks,

Yeah, you're welcome Denis. Hopefully the troubleshooting you did was character-building stuff!

Re: All red in Hangar P3D V3 wit Simconnect installed
My Lawd I am GLAD for this forum! Just got myself a new rig and thought I'd made the FSX-->P3D switch while I was at it. Sure enough, I was greeted with a 100% busted Comanche after install. Ran Simconnect and everything's fine now. Thank you to Nick M for the link to the thread that shows where the installer is, and to Poppet/Elaine for the screenshot.

Re: All red in Hangar P3D V3 wit Simconnect installed
Glad the thread was helpful. I think the two most common troubleshooting questions on the forums here are "did you run the Accu-Sim updater?" and "did you install the SimConnect client?". (I guess they're the community equivalent of "did you turn it off and on again?" )
Speaking of which, don't forget the run the Accu-Sim updater for your new installation.
