The heading knob on the Commanche does not change heading

Post by [email protected] »

I just purchased the Comanche and think it is great. I have one issue, the heading knob does not work. when I try to set the heading the button pushes in but I cannot get the heading to change. I a using the Steam addition.

How do I correct? Thanks :?

Hello and welcome to the forums! :)

You'll need to use your mouse scroll wheel to rotate the heading bug. Clicking pushes the knob in so that you can rotate the compass card (again, using the mouse wheel) to correct for gyro drift.

As it's a new installation, you should also download and run the Accu-Sim updater from here: it will add some fixes and enhancements to the Comanche, including a small change to the mouse interaction with the heading bug.

Cheers,
Nick

Hi
It is not a good idea to use an email address as a user name as the whole world will know how to contact you.

I suggest you change it as quick as possible.

Cheers Chris

Glad to help JGL. :) Yeah, if you send a PM to Lewis he should be able to change your username to avoid the risk of added email spam.
