Upgrading to P3dv4

Post by Nixon »

Hi
I have been enjoying flying the Commanche in FSX since just after it's release. I see that it's now possible to buy the FSX version plus a version for P3Dv4. Is it therefore possible to pay the difference between the two when upgrading?
Thanks
Nixon

This has been mentioned several times,if you check the forums.

FSX and P3D are totally different platforms,so the answer to your question is no.

Cheers Chris

I asked the question as A2A now offer "an academic bundle" including both FSX and P3D for $69.95 as against $ 49.95 just for FSX. The P3D version is also $49.95, therefore as I purchased the Commanche before it was available as a bundle it will cost me in total $99.90 which in effect is a $29.90 penalty for making an early purchase.

My understanding is they are not "totally different " platforms.

From memory, everything since the C172 has been available as a bundle.
