I think A2A's next COTS will be Douglas DC-4 and C-54 Skymaster in one release. On the other product line, I think the jet generation will be born...

Merry Xmas,

they have confirmed to me that they do not plan on simming a DC-4 any time in the near future. I will pass the bubble bursting honor now to you.

A big bell, indeed. Not sure if that's meant as a compliment or an insult

Not me. I know that the opportunity they couldn't pass up is obviously a reference to a mint condition flyable Lancaster that someone found in the back of their garage. A2A must have borrowed it for a few months for flight testing. :D
Oh GOD !!!!!!! You have uttered the L word. For heaven's sake man have some pity. You know that the very hint of the L word sends Lewis into violent fits of tepid anticipation. Have some mercy PLEASE!!! He's SO fragile you know !!!!!!

Actually on new aircraft, it's our policy to wait until someone..........ANYONE.........posts any of the following;

7. Scott said just 8 months ago that they will.....................

I have to say that so far I've not seen anyone here on the forums posting any suggestion for what we should produce next and until we actually see a post like that I'm afraid it will have to be a surprise as always.

Myy humble estimate is
Bonanza V33, would be a good option a little faster to the Comanche 250 and use tip tanks, that my favorite plane is the DC3 / C47 I dream of the day when A2A makes it

Thank you and have a Merry Christmas :D

Well, since it's Christmas and we can dream, my choices would be: L-10 Electra; Beech 18; or a DC-3.

Merry Christmas everyone

Sure. A Beech 18 would be really nice.

As long as it has floats. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jg2_4_69l6M

Anything with floats is nice.

Please?

Dudley: Were those TF-30s in a F-111 Aardvark?

I remember that the CO (Scott) had posted something in an earlier thread about tip tanks and three engine variants. I'm still hoping for a Cessna 310, but maybe he's talking about the Lockheed F-90!

Image.

The XF-90 had two J-34s, with 6,200 lb thrust each. Maybe one of the engine variants could be a single J-79 (16,000+ lb thrust), like in the F-90B. We could form our own Blackhawk Squadron on multiplayer!

"Hawk-a-a-a!"

Hey - Merry Christmas, Hanukah, Festivus, whatever, etc.

The good news is that it is now officially 2018. A new accusim plane can be released any day now.

That's true, except, of course for Realair. the B60 v2 is hard to beat.

Yes, the engines used in the A F14's came out of the F111 program. In the Tomcat they had issues in the military power ranges.
Later engines solved these issues.

It'd be amazing if the new opportunity is that X-Plane will team up with A2A. XP11 is looking very nice, for me all it lacks is A2A aircraft....

Just my wishful thinking, though.
