Pan view moves in large increments

Post by ballistx »

In all of the plane in FSX the view moves in about 30 degree jumps. At some time I have seen it smooth but cannot get to move smoothly. The actual operation is smooth. Just the pan jumping instead of moving in small increments.

FSX is installed on my CAD machine which has 16gb ram, I7 advanced processor, SSD, Windows 10, Dual video cards that are both pretty high end. I don't think it is the computer.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

How are you looking around the cockpit, with the mouse, keyboard, Track IR? Are you in the virtual cockpit view in FSX?

Hey, check your setting in fsx under “view pan”. The slider next to it should be at the maxed out position. Happened to me a couple of times, not sure why

Hope it helps! :D

Using the top hat on the yoke.

I uninstalled and reinstalled and no change. I have another identical PC with it on there. That one works fine.

I tried the view pan and even changed settings in cameras.cfg. That changed it but didn't fix it.

Now all of a sudden the pan view is working like it should. GREMLINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't fix something that is working.
