N6235P - red black Comanche

I found this example and was tempted to recreate it.

I am not quite happe with the reflections getting pinkish than dark red. I'll need to experiment a bit.

Anyway here are some WIP pics. The interior is fictional.

Great looking paint, Ebo.

Did you thick of experimenting with the black fuselage paint feathering into to red cowl paint instead of having such a sharp demarcation between the two?

Just a thought.

Thanks for yourcsuggestiob George. I just followed the real paint scheme.

Regarding tip tanks I have not given it a thiught as the real ac does not have them.

oh my. I made a totally booboo.

The gradient on the rear part should be an orange tint and not the same red as in front.

Need to redo it. Sory for that.

The black goes a smidge higher on the real aircraft, it looks like you nailed the slight mismatch between nose and gradient now 8)
