Landing Gear motor - no amperage change

I just noticed that while operating the landing gear while in flight, there is no needle 'spike' or movement on AMPS gauge. The same holds if testing while on jacks having just MASTER SWITCH on - AMPS gauge shows just -1.
I think gear motor should consume lots of Amperes....

Yep, and further, I didn't note the discussion back in 2015, but the last response on the topic is correct according to the schematic: the starter should not indicate on the ammeter, exactly as noted. It would overload the ammeter anyway. :)
