Adjusting Comm and Nav 2 Frequencies from shift 6

Post by bobsk8 »

Has anyone noticed that the quick adjust for comm and Nav 2 radios in the shift 6 quick adjust don't work. ADF and Comm and Nav 1 work perfectly. I have the Flight 1 GTN 650 installed if that makes a difference.

I just checked, and the Shift+6 window works fine. All functions work correctly for both COM and both NAV radios, and the ADF. My Comanche is running on P3Dv4.1 with the latest update.

I recently watched Froogle's YouTube videos in which he recorded his taking (and passing) the PilotEdge V3 exam. Much switching of radio frequencies!

Well I hate to say ii, but it looks like there may be an intermittent bug in the shift 6 control of NAV 2 frequencies. I got it to work a couple of times, but now it is back to refusing to work. I can swap the Nav 2 freq by hitting the arrow keys next to the freq numbers, and also turn the comm 2 radio on and off, but that is it. No freq adjust of either the NAV 2 comm or Nav radio. When I mouse over the numbers, I don't get the "hand" that shows it can be adjusted.

Hello,

try to switch briefly to NO GPS option using Shift-3 panel and turn on COM1 radio. Then switch back to GTN650.

That did it. Easy work around. I wonder if that will be fixed in a future update?
