Aircraft status not saved

Post by avduarri »

Hello,

I've noticed that the aircraft status from the last flight (and the engine hours) hasn't been saved. When I load the aircraft it appears as new.
The issue started when I installed the p3dv4 version and uninstalled P3dv3 (all the sim) because I wasn't using P3dv3 anymore. Maybe a folder used by the Comanche in V4 was deleted when uninstalling P3dv3?
Thanks in advance.

Hi.
I use FSX + Acceleration , so i am not 100% certain , but i believe A2A went the shared data route , so which ever sim you used the hours would be the same as when you left it in the other sim , as some use FSX and P3DV3 or 4 and switch between the two types of sim.
So you may have inadvertantly removed the data files that keep track of wear an tare and the hours.

Hello,

it could be a permissions error also, are you running the sim as administrator (right click select run as admin).

thanks,

Hi,

Yes, I run the sim as administrator. I decided to reinstall all my A2A airplanes. I made two flights shutting down de sim and looks like is working ok.
