At least it seems as though wheel pants etc are a bit dirtier than the day I first installed.
If so, how do you wash the plane?

You do what all real aircraft owners do, shamelessly exploit a keen and eager 13yr old boy to spend the day giving it a wash in return for a spin in it after.Taka taka wrote:At least it seems as though wheel pants etc are a bit dirtier than the day I first installed.

Yep, it worked for me as a 13 year old. Nothing wrong with a bit of slave labour...BusheFlyer wrote:You do what all real aircraft owners do, shamelessly exploit a keen and eager 13yr old boy to spend the day giving it a wash in return for a spin in it after.Taka taka wrote:At least it seems as though wheel pants etc are a bit dirtier than the day I first installed.

Dont think mess in the pants is modelled, although I've come close a few times in particularly tricky IFR approaches with declining mins, heavy gusts and rain.
Taka, I think your thinking of the Digital Aviation Katana X, where you had to hoover the cockpit, or the Flight 1 182, where you had to wipe the bug splats off.
Might be a feature that could be added, now sims are going 64-bit.

Maybe you have to fly through some serious rain. Make sure that you have the carb heat on!

IMC does indeed clean the aircraft off. I spent about 2.5 hours in actual IMC (heavy rain at 2 degrees C) this weekend and CF-NZB is utterly spotless.
The belly still has some oil stains on it, sadly.
