Getting my Comanche repainted!

Post by mlb406 »

Hi all,

In the world of FSEconomy, I own a Comanche, G-COMB, a fictional registration (CO = Comanche, MB = my initials). When I bought it, I had to stick together a livery for me to fly with. Whilst not very high quality, and done based on the default light blue and white livery, it was only temporary, and gave my virtually-owned aircraft an identity in the sim. But, after several months of ownership, and 20 hours on the clock, I decided it was time to swap the temporary paint for something much more impressive. I got to work, basing the repaint on a blue and silver combo I had seen on a Cirrus, VH-ICE. I took many attempts to get it right, and after fiddling around with getting the individual parts of the aircraft painted, changing the underside and side patterns multiple times, I was very happy with the end result!

The full album is available here.

Hope you enjoyed this brief story!
