Guys: I have Skyvector as my home screen on my web browser. No click-bait and it's a whole lot easier to check the local flying weather. A couple days ago, just as afternoon was turning into
evening, I noticed that even though all the local fields in Pugetropolis were IFR, there was a VFR corridor up the Columbia River, from The Dalles to way up past Kennewick.
I flew my Comanche from the Dalles (KDLS) to Hermiston (KHRI), all at about 1,500 feet. I got this nice shot along the way:
