Climb Power Question

Post by themathguy »

I just have a quick question regarding climb power:

The manual says that for the climb, the Manifold Pressure should be set to a maximum of 24 in. Does that mean that the manifold pressure during the climb should be continuously adjusted to maintain 24 in. or does it mean set 24 in. innitailly and maintain that throttle setting until reaching cruise altitude?

Thanks :D

Adjust the throttle as needed to maintain 24". You can also maintain full throttle up to TOC if you need to climb in a hurry; I do this whenever I have to get over the mountains.
