Landing Lights and Beacon Toggles

Post by William Hughes »

I am attempting to configure a Saitek TPM module to properly activate the landing lights, strobe, and beacon. I managed to get the gear up / gear down switch to work properly, but I am stumped when it comes to the lights, strobe, and beacon. Does anyone know what FSX commands these are mapped to?

Hi.
FSX light commands are very basic , and does not cover your needs , if you have licenced version of FSUIPC , then try looking in there , or do what i do , just click on the vc light switch you wish to turn on.

Hello,

yes for the advanced mapping you'll need some software such as FSUIPC or others to map various parts that might otherwise not be mappable in the default FSX/P3D simulation.

thanks,

Hi William,

All my additional hardware, like the TPM, Cessna Yoke, MCP COMBO and more is managed by the Linda Lua module (freeware), which works absolutely perfectly (has profiles included for f.e. the Piper Comanche and many others, but new profiles can be made very easily)
All the Piper Comanche's buttons and knobs, my standard plane for the moment, is controlled by Linda.
Here's the link to the latest update: http://www.avsim.com/topic/456174-new-l ... -oct-2016/

Good luck
