Comanche and FSX stop moving

Post by Benla »

Hello

Before, my Commache worked very well on my system ( windows 10, FSX SP2 ), but after reinstallation , it does'nt move when it appears in the home page ( I speak of Comanche but the other A2A planes have the same problem, and only A2A planes ) and sometimes I have a " fatal error" message , and FSX always stops working ( I must type CTRL ALT DEL to shut FSX because the mouse can't move anymore
What happens and how to solve this problem, I like very much A2A planes ?

thank you

Hello,

have you run the latest Accu-sim updater?

Did the Direct X9 component of the installer work ok?

Is the FSX installation updated using Acceleration or the two Service Packs?

thanks,

Latest updater Accu sim, yes
direct x 9 , it's said when installing that it's already installed, nothing to do
Fxs, I have SP1 then SP2 ( what do you mean by updated ? every thing works well but A2A planes )
when the Comanche appears in the home page, when other planes turn, the Comanche starts moving half a second then it stops, and two seconds later, the message " fatal error appears "

when I run " accu feel " , FSX doesn't work, " fatal error " again so I uninstalled it

It could be any number of things but I would check all your system drivers are fully updated with the correct drivers and not the default ms windows ones and also that your FSX is correctly updated to SP2 standard, you can do this by running a repair and or running SP1 and then SP2 again.

My drivers are all update, windows 10 too, ( update 1607 ); I think the problem is a very little thing, because, after selecting the Comanche, when I click on " details ", the plane is moving normally
it's when I want to load it, that it stops moving and FSX says " FSX has stopped working " ( I translate in English; may be it's not the correct expression )

after reading this old thread ( http://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtop ... 4&start=15 ), I wonder if it's not a story of dll conflict ( but I have not the dll they speak about in this thread )
really, I have tried many things, can't solve this issue

Hello,

can you please get the crash and then check your event viewer. Also please note that windows 10 or other OS are not drivers the drivers should be downloaded from the individual brands you have in your system. For example Nvidia for the Nvidia based Graphic cards.

Yes, I know drivers, my drivers are all update ( among them, graphic card AMD ); I did as you ask and I have checked my event viewer the time when the crash happened
it's in " application ", and here it is ( it speaks of " a2a_accusim.dll)

To see what happens, I have renamed "A2A_Accusim.DLL" in " ORIGINAL A2A_Accusim.DLL" and this time the Comanche is moving and loading normally but nothing works, no sound and "hanger" shows that the plane is completely broken
the problem comes from this dll I think , I installed the A2A update 05_09 _16

thanks for your help

Hi.
I noticed you use win 10 , has this done a security update behind your back , win 10 is apparently good at things like that , and it may be blocking part of this aircraft , thinking its a virus .
Also do you have an anti virus prog , they can sometimes block genuine progs , i use AVAST FREEWARE ANTI VIRUS and get no issues , but then again , i use win 7 .

You mentioned things where working and then not working so lets track down whats changed on your system. Was it a platform reinstall, aircraft, OS?

what before and now ? an update of wind 10 ( the infamous anniversary 1607 ) which blocked my PC , I had to do a reinstall of every thing , now I got the 1607 well, but the reason is maybe somewhere else. I have an old ( 7 years , but very good ) computer and I though I have Dx9, but looking this morning, I have Dx 12, may be installed with the new update ; is it a problem ? You speak always of Dx 9 for A2A planes
as told already, all my other planes ( among them Real Air ) fly normally

Hi.
DX11/12 are for p3d only ,FSX does not work with these, that might be your problem , FSX should be DX9 , you can use DX10 , if you have the DX10 fixer program.

Hello Benla - you describe selecting the Comanche from the 'Free Flight' screen which is when the A2A_accusim.dll crash occurs. Have you tried loading the flight with a default FSX aircraft (such as the Cessna 172SP) and switching to the Comanche after the flight has finished loaded?

Also, which aircraft is currently set as default?

Thanks,
Nick

If its crashing at aircraft selection it does sound like direct X9 is not updated and will need updating. Then restart the system and see how that goes.
