New Plane: Questions

Post by r601020 »

After flying the Piper Cherokee, I need a repaint for the cockpit with a sticky pad: "Forget Something?"

Anybody have Rex 4 and FSX:SE that can help me get more visibility from these night landings? Or, other suggestions?

I think . . the problem I had with not seeing airport lighting may have had to do with AS 2016, and adjusting minimal visiblity.

In the Piper Cherokee, I learned a setting for the EGT gauge (kudos again to afcraig2010 for his demo), and then where I wanted to be corresponding to that, for an optimal flight with throttle and mixture, so . . how do I apply that to the Piper Comanche EGT gauge?

The EGT gauge in the Comanche is used exactly the same way than in others but you refer against the scale instead of the needle you would set in the others. One could say this one takes more mental work as you need to remember the peak EGT when leaning in reference to it, but I guess it only depends.
