Enjoying the USAAF paint a lot. :D I like the little touches like the text at the leading edge of the port wing, and the pilot's change of shirt!!

Thanks again, George.

Cheers,
Mike

Hey Mike,

Glad that you're enjoying the paint.

With each paint I try to change the apparel of each character. It sort of adds to the personalization of each plane.

There are so many awesome paints for the Comanche. I'm loving the interiors as well. Great work everyone. Thank you.

No hanger would be complete without a LBP (Little Black Plane).
Just wanted to create something simple so I came up with this. After posting WIP pics at,
http://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtop ... 24&t=58413
Lewis mentioned that it reminded him of James Bond. It was funny that while working on the repaint I had thought the same, so after re-coloring the gold accents, I decided to also change the reg number.
Here it is.

Enjoy

Another winner, George :D . She looks gorgeous flying between clouds. And thanks also for the separate black VC textures. I've added then to a couple of other repaints which will make them look even better.

Mike

Hi George many thanks for the Blue repaint really good job. I will also add the black job soon.

I have never done a repaint so I have no idea how to do anything like you have. But is it possible to show me how I can put my callsign on the fuselage please?

Regards

Michael.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the comments, they are much appreciated.

MickB:
You would need to have some sort of paint programs such as Photoshop, Corel Paint Shop Pro, or I'm sure there are others out there. Then you would need to download the paintkit for the aircraft that you wish to repaint.

Then you would need to view the Repainters forum on this board.
http://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=98

Search Youtube for any tutorials (member Eightyfiftyfive has an excellent video series on how to repaint planes. That's how I learned. )
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9tN_7 ... YVREUJ1F7w

You should view the dds files that came with an airplane that you have and study them to see how certain effects are made and achieved.

Most of all ask questions. There are a bunch of very remarkable repainters on this board who would be happy to answer them.

Happy repainting.

Not that simple eh. Just thought I could just get into the .cfg and change the callsign.

I might just leave it to the experts on this one .

btw. the the black one is awsome :D

Michael.

Is there room for one more Comanche?

Desperate for something to paint, I came upon this Canadian:

I've finished it and uploaded it to my MediaFire

Unfortunately, my ftp site won't let me in so I can't put up any screen shots. Maybe later.

Always room for another Comanche, Ron. That's a very modern paint job and looks good.

Thanks,

Exactly. There can never be to many repaints
And this one is a looker. I love the modern schemes in the Comanche.

And yes, the registrations do 'italicise' both sides. :)

On AVSIM as well.
