207hr on the clock.
Long trip south-eastbound from Victoria island. Landed at Land's Inn Ranch (part of Orbx OG39). Small airfield in the mountain.

Image

After two go around, the first one for excessive speed with no head wind, the second for cows crossing the strip... the aircraft had landed but the 4000ft high short narrow bumpy strip is challenging.
Obviously not the easiest place where to land a Comanche...

Nice! Victoria Island is awesome too. Was there as a teen.

Questionable Wx near KSEZ puts me in jeopardy. LLWS pushes me back onto the runway and I had to go around and try to land to assess for damage. There wasn't any, so I took off again. Not real smart!

Wind really tore me up as I headed south towards PHX. Pretty sketchy :|
Image

Traffic alert from ATC? Visible on GTN TCAS, no factor but I'll keep looking:

See him? A Southwest 737 at 7,500 heading east.

Finally approaching DVT in stable air!

Excellent landing and maintenance check after a harrowing flight:

Edit, a few more:

Btw. does anyone else find themselves always navigating only by pilotage and/or dead reckoning and the occasional VOR instead of relying on GPS?
I really enjoy the process of planning and keeping track of everything with just pen, paper and a stop watch. 8)

You should pay him a commission. I bought the Comanche the next morning because of those screenshots.
