Flight for today, KRYN-KPSP. Had to avoid some airspace along the way but no better plane to spend the time in! always enjoy getting her back up in the air.

Taking off today from White Horse to Yakuta. -9°C and snow. Strong icing conditions in the real world I suppose...
Anyway, off we go.

Image

Ceiling was around 5000" but conditions improved over the mountains.
FL110, some tailwind allowed 150 kts and 10GPH. Nice bird...

Image

The PAYA ILS was not easy, crosswind and ceiling down to 2000".
Well, the Comanche made it and is safely parked for the night.
Tomorrow heading north...

Lovely screens in this thread, I think I should wash the dust off the wings of the Comanche and take a good trip with it again!

Nah, some might be found in the clouds but if it is dry snow, which it likely is at -9 °C, any snowing conditions are seldom icing. :) That's one of my favorite routes, btw, multiple scenic passes and high glaciers to take the flight through!

Hi folks,

Just making my inaugural post here; I purchased the Comanche last week and have been having a blast with it; it is so choice. :) I wanted to give thanks for the wonderful aircraft and the repaint work you guys have all been doing. I've already seen some amazing stuff here. Thankya!

Anyway, as I'm posting in the screenshot area, I wanted to share one of my favorite moments with Kessinger's N2515P parked at Thompson Falls, MT waiting for the sun to show itself:

Nick and Lewis,

Thank you for the warm welcome! Just a quick word on my username - I can already see there is an effective team here; now I suppose you can say you've seen a Scav up close. :)

Anyway, here are a few more screenshots from the same series. Enjoy!

Vielen dank, mein herr! :)

(That's my school-level German talking from MANY years ago, by the way.)

While the repaint is not mine (I thank the esteemed N324JK for that), I had fun getting that series put together. I like this place. I like the aircraft. I think I'll put up more screenshots in the near future. :)
