I just bought the C182 for P3Dv4, and the radio stack doesn't work.
I've checked the avionics, and only GPS seems to be working.
I've checked all power switches on the radio stack and still nothing. i bought the C182 together with the P51 civilian, and Accu-feel, and the GPS in P51 doesn't work aswell. I'm currently running P3Dv4.4

Re: Radio stack doens't work
Hello and welcome to the A2A forums.
Please could you let us know if the Davtron clock next to the ASI is working? If it's not, this may indicate that the 182's avaionics DLL hasn't been loaded for some reason, possibly due to antivirus software or similar.
If the clock is powered and functional, please can you check the circuit breakers for the avionics buses.
If this doesn't resolve the issue, please can you let us know which aircraft loads within your P3D default flight? (i.e the aircraft which first loads in the "vehicle" panel at top left. By default it's the F-22 at Eglin AFB.)
Thanks,
Nick

Thanks for checking. In that case, please can you verify if the following file is present on your system:
Also, please can you let us know which aircraft loads as default as mentioned above?

Re: Radio stack doens't work
In that case, I wonder if there's a third-party utility present which is preventing the DLL from being loaded. Do you have any firewall or AV software running whilst you use P3D, and if so, from which provider?
Also how about other P3D utilities or background Windows utilities such as Process Lasso?
Thanks,
Nick

Re: Radio stack doens't work
Okay thanks. What happens if you try the autostart option in the Shift 3 menu? Does the aircraft engine actually start, but all the avionics displays remain dead?
Nick
Edit: Just seen your latest post: reinstalling won't do any harm, but you could also try manually deleting the contents of "Documents\A2A\FSX\Cessna182".

Re: Radio stack doens't work
If you uninstall in the usual way then delete any leftover files in the two locations "Documents\A2A" and "Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons\A2A" that should do it.
After uninstalling, you could also launch P3D once to refresh its add-ons.cfg files.
Thanks,
Nick

Re: Radio stack doens't work
Great news - thanks for the update. My guess would be that your AV suite imposed some sort of restriction preventing the DLL from loading. If you have further issues along these lines, it may be worth creating an exception in the AV software for the P3D and A2A directories.
