Fresh DL of Prepar3d v4 no file path

just switch from FSX to prepar3d v4....i did not look close enough when i bought the 182 that said it was for v3....when i went to install it did not have a file path pre populated (ie the prepar 3d v3 file) so i made a new folder to install but have no idea where to put it so prepar v4 can find it....i read some messages that just pertaned to altering .cfg file but not this...thanks for the help

Hello and welcome to the A2A forums.

The Prepar3D v3 version of the Accu-Sim Cessna 182 won't work in v4 of P3D. (Version 3 is a 32-bit platform whereas Version is a 64-bit one.)

However, your download should contain links to installers for both versions of P3D. If you can't find a link to the P3D v4 download, please can you let us know when you purchased, and where you purchased from?

If you purchased the Prepar3D version of the 182 from us, there should be two downloadable files in the store. Please download and install the one that says it's for Prepar3D v4.

oh i have the 172 trainer, 182, cherokee, comanche, b-17, p-51 for fsx....i could not remember my old login in for the forum here so had to make a new one to post....i sure wished there was a discount when moving platforms but i understand...thanks again

Just in case you purchased the FSX products from our old web store, please check out this post. If you fill in the short Google form attached to migrate your account to the new store, you'll be entitled to some loyalty points which you could put towards the cost of P3D version of your existing products, or a completely new aircraft such as the Bonanza.
