A2A Cessna 182 Nose wheel not moving

Post by walt642 »

Just loaded the A2A Cessna 182....... Tried a test flight and I can't get the nose wheel to move. The rubber moves left and right but the nose wheel is staying straight. So even though the rudder is full left or right the plane continues to go straight. Any ideas what I missed? Thanks Walt (Casper)

Prepar3d v4.1 or 4.2?

if that's not the case, have you checked the maintenance hangar for failures?

Me too! Will do the updated tonight. I had a hunch that will fix it, but had to get to sleep. Looking forward to installing it tonight!

The same Problem here. I installed p3d V4 Academic on Friday, bought this c182 and there is no steering.
I had downloaded this A2A_Update_10_12_17.zip and installed this also but no steering at all.
Is there a solution?

Are you running P3D v4.2 or an earlier version?

I bought p3d on Friday also. So I think it is V4.2

and the c182 is brandnew, no problems seen in Hangar.

Hello,

its not 4.2 as it was only 4.1 that introuced the new P3D measurement system, but If you can start a new thread we can better troubleshoot your issue.

thanks,
