GTN 750/650 not showing up in panel

Post by SDpilot »

After using the A2A aircraft configuration tool for the C182 and C172 the flight1 GTN750/650 gauges show up only as pop ups when selected from the view>instrument panel dropdown menue. The instrument panel itself remains the same as in the default GPS configuration. How should these gauges show up?

Hello,

have you used the shift + 3 panel to select the GTN setup?

thanks,

I was able to get the GTN 750 installed in the panel of another A2A aircraft using its configuration tool. I think the installation in the C182 and C172 got messed up by the flight1 configuration utility which I did open for the C182 and C172 but thought I made no changes. How best to fix this issue?

Yes I tried that but as I said it behaved as if the aircraft was in the default GPS configuration. The flight1 gauges could not be selected using shift>F3.

Correction. The flight1 gauges could not be selected using shift + 3.

Problem resolved by uninstalling both aircraft, deleting residual FSX Steam files, and reinstalling. Then used A2A aircraft configuration utility to install the GTN 750 in the panel of each aircraft. Don't have a clue as to what was wrong with the previous installation.
