Purchased the Comanche tonight (already own the 182) and tried to install it. Ran into a DirectX error during install but I currently have DirextX 12.
Now when I launch P3d V4, neither plane show in the list.
A2A file is not in the root Prepar3D V4 folder. Didn't have any issues with the 182 but now they are both missing from the list.
Any ideas?
A2A Planes not showing in list
Re: A2A Planes not showing in list
Got them to show by following these steps.
Nick M wrote:Okay, thanks Brian - please can you open the following file with a text editor such as Notepad:
C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\add-ons.cfg.
And edit the line "PATH=F:\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons\A2A\" so that it reads "PATH=F:\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons\A2A" instead. (i.e. just remove the trailing backslash.)
By default, "ProgramData" is a hidden system folder. https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/hel ... dden-files.
Please let us know if this resolves the issue.
Thanks,
Nick

Re: A2A Planes not showing in list
Yes, looks like P3Dv4.2 users who use a custom installation directory will have to make a small edit to their add-ons.cfg file for now.
Lockheed Martin are aware of the issue and hopefully a better solution will be forthcoming.
Thanks,
Nick
