KAP140 Button variables

I am trying to set up the C182 autopilot panel on a saitek multi panel. I have all the variables however i'm struggling to set up the heading. Using the kap140 heading and kap140 Heading button variables i can engage heading from ROL to HDG mode but when i try to cancel heading and return to wing leveller the button will release but the mode does not change.

Has anyone got the C182 autopilot set up on a Saitek multipanel correctly?

Hi zkiwi, sorry about the rather slow response to your question.

If you haven't already sorted this, are you aware that the mode L:Var in question (i.e. L:kap140_hdg) should be set to 1 on press but not back to 0 on release, unlike the L:Var for the button itself (L:kap140_hdg_button) ? (A bit more info here.)
