Re: Problems with new Updater

Hello,

the Spitfire may have worked to varying degrees in P3Dv1-3 but was never officially supported due to certain issues, invalidation of the flight model, physics changes etc etc etc. As of the time of this post we only offer the Accu-sim Spitfire for the FSX platform, which is why its under the FSX section on the store.

On a more generic use as almost if not all other developers and the majority of users we would never recommend the use of a migration tool to try to hack products from one platform to another. Whilst this has caused much frustration of migration software users in the past for P3Dv4 it has been known to not only cause frustration but totally screw up an entire P3Dv4 install that can only be fixed with an entire clean and reinstall of the core platform.

thanks,
Lewis

I also have the spinning aircraft with the A2A Cherokee after applying the latest update. Not able to get it fixed.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it and re-applying P3D v4.1 patch. Neither helped. It starts spinning on the ground as soon as I release the brakes. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Paul

Hello Paul,

the only reason for the spinning as you mention is the aircraft being updated but P3D not being updated. How are you updated P3D, if not sure you will want to refer to one of the guides available on the Lockheed P3D forums.
