Hobbs meter hours

Post by Cat3508 »

Have just downloaded and installed the P3Dv4 version of this aircraft, and I've noticed that on all the models, the hobbs meter is reading 23.6 hrs. Isn't this a bit strange, as its supposed to be a new aircraft.
I never noticed this on my FSX models. It's not really a problem, just curious, that all.
Cheers,
Neil

Hi,

You can select the aircraft to be "New" or reset it in other words from the "Shift+3" menu. Let us know if it goes to zero after that attempt.

Cheerz,
Will

This is correct behavior, when you first install the aircraft you will get a random used aircraft. You may reset it to new as noted.

Hello,

yes Oracle is spot on, you will get a somewhat random first load and then you can setup as you wish, be it a new aircraft, keep what you have or select another randomly used aircraft.

thanks,
Lewis

Thanks for the answer to my query, Found it in Shift+3,and it reset to 0hrs without a problem. I have another problem though, and that is I have no Accusim Expansion Pack. Its not showing in the Add On menu at the top of the sim, and I can't find it in any of the C182 documentation. In the downloaded zip file all there is showing is P3DV1-3 Academic.EXE, and P3DV4 Academic.EXE., of which I have the latter.

Cheers.

You're good to go, the A2A GA lineup includes Accusim, and there is no "Add-ons" entry for it.

Yes that is correct its all part of the software for Accu-sim and tuned/created in keeping with our own testing process for the real life aircraft.

Accu-feel on the other hand has an add-ons menu that allows tweaking and changing of settings for your non Accu-sim aircraft

Okay, thanks. I must have been mixing up Accu-sim with Accu-feel. I knew there was a separate addon which was adjustable to suit oneself.
