My C182 is Dead And Won't Ressurect !

Post by Gabe777 »

Maintenance hangar sais everything is broken - showing zero miles on hobbs meter !

But, none of the usual clicks to repair it are working !

What do I do... cannot locate a config file anywhere to reset it or anything.

Thnx

Hi Gabe777,

I am not certain what is your simulator, but it sounds like you need to reinstall the SimConnect. The symptoms shown in the hanger (everything broken) are usually fixed by simconnect reinstall.

Hi,

Good to hear, you sorted it out. Yes, it is not preferable to load a complex aircraft such as A2A planes as a default flight. :wink:

I have also started 3 installers of the Simconnect. in the system control I have 4 Simconnect. but the Cessna 182 does not work. I even bought the Academic and the Professional version because I thought this is the problem. Greeting Fabian

Hi,

What is the simulator you are trying to install C182 into? (FSX, FSX:Steam or P3D)

Hi Fabian,

Here is a quote from the troubleshooting thread for C182:

"P3D - Installed but nothing works and all is broken!?

P3DV2 sometimes wont install the required simconnect files. No worries though as they are provided by Lockheed in the following directory;
\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2\redist\Interface\FSX-SP2-XPACK\retail\lib"

The Cessna 182 works now! Everything is good, I am happy. We have uninstalled and reinstalled the content and client in P3d. Now the A2A aircraft works.
Thanks for your help
