Hi everyone, reading the manual, I could not find a topic to make the "default damage" option to default to "OFF" instead of to "ON".
It can be toggle during the session for "ON" and "OFF" but the next time around will come back to "ON" again.
Also I could not find any explanation about the "Slave" and "Align Switch", they toggle but what do they do anyway?
Many Thanks,
George

Hi George,
Not sure about the default damage on/off question I'm afraid.
However, you can read about the function of the KA 51B slaving meter in the manual for the KCS 55A. A2A simulate a 'slaved' HSI: for normal operation, keep the switch in the slaved position and the unit will adjust itself for gyro drift using a separate magnetic sensor.

Re: Default Damage On and Slave Switch.
The default position is for damage/wear and tear and all simulation to be ON.
