Hi.
Have already installed the Active Sky 2016 X Gauge - which AS did by inserting it as Panel 5 - shifting all the others down one - all good.
But, my GTN gauge disappears when I go to outside view.
The Pop up number is Panel 12 - don't even know how to bring this up as my number pad only goes to 9 !
What do I do, as I need a quick keystroke to bring up my GPS.
Thnx

Re: Modifying Panel.cfg for GTN Pop Up
Hello,
from memory you can keep the panels up when changing views by editing panel.cfg for the aircraft. Add this to the panel you would like to keep open, all all of them if you want;
Type=Special
thanks,
Lewis

Just found out the fsuipc allows you to assign any panel to a keystroke, so will try both....beats using mouse all time !
Cheers

Re: Modifying Panel.cfg for GTN Pop Up
I appeared to have messed up my panel.cfg file.
So I now have two issues.
When I try to manually edit it, it seems to go back to default..... don't know how this even possible btw ! ?
Secondly, where exactly do I put the "type=special" line ?
Thirdly .... sorry to be a pain ...... (!), how do I reduce the size of the pop up of the GTN 750 and move it to the bottom right of the screen ?
Thnx

Re: Modifying Panel.cfg for GTN Pop Up
Hello Gabe,
if its not saving it sounds like a permission error so its not saving, you will want to check folder permissions for the folder and make sure your account has full access to read/write and edit.
For the part to add that's adding it to the panel you want to add in the text to the panel section you want it to apply too.
For the third, you can just move them with a mouse is the easiest way.
thanks,
Lewis
