Exterior lights very dim in P3Dv4

Did my first night flight in v4 now, however the lights are very dim (or even not noticable):



Nav lights wie no glow, and very dim




Same for the white tail light- the beacon is missing completely (already read about that here).


Landing light and strobes work perfectly.
And I thought P3Dv4 would have a superior lighting system.. the internal panel lighting somehow looks worse than in FSX.. it would be great if there would be a chance to improve that, the panel surface looks like 8bit texture, depending how much lighting is applied.

Are you using a shader mod like PTA Matthias? The nav lights on my P3Dv4 installation are perhaps a bit on the dim side, but nothing like yours...



However, I have the 172 installed too, so perhaps this 'fixes' the nav lights as well as the missing beacon.

Nope, no mods. Just AS + ASCA, nothing more.
I should state that the 182 is the only A2A GA so far in v4, as I read that this issue might not exist if you have the 172 installed.

Yes we have an update coming for P3Dv4 to fix a few niggles. Just to check though in P3D do you have dynamic lights on and HDR on in display?

With the switch from the FSX simulator to the Prepare 3D.V4 the Navigation and Strobe lights are not turning on. Have some forecast for repair.Note I do not have A2A C172 installed.
