morse id in garmin 530

how do we get to hear the morse id for nav1?

Hi,

If the morse ident is switched off for the default Bendix King NAV1 radio, this will carry over to a third-party GNS installation.

To address this, simply use the Shift 3 menu to briefly switch the radio option back to "NO GPS", right click the knob marked "pull ident" on the NAV/COMM1 radio, then use Shift 3 to revert to the GNS 530. The NAV1 morse ident should now play, provided it's also switched on via the audio panel at the top of the avionics stack. This setting should also be remembered next time you load the 182.
