Interier night lighting seems inferior

Post by dancemad2 »

I noticed this in my first purchase with P3Dv3 172 trainer and thought that the new install of the 64bit trainer in P3dv4 would be better, however it is not. The shading of the interior night lighting appears very graded (like the old school 8 and 16 bit colors of the past). I usually turn the lighting off as it is distracting. Is this normal?

Thanks,
Michael

I also noticed that it looks different from FSX. When i got V4 I uninstalled FSX so cant do a side by side anymore but my first night flight it did look different but Im still playing with my settings and wasnt sure if it was just that.

Yeah, it is pretty normal. Certain combinations of lightning show that, others don't much at all. It would be interesting if built-in support for FSL Spotlights could be included for the ones who've got it, like in the future products.
