Stable fuel flow does not work

Post by cuevision »

Hello to you all,
-----------------------
Mixture — SET to FULL RICH (full forward) until stable fuel flow is indicated (usually 3 to 5 seconds), then set to IDLE CUTOFF (full aft) position.
-----------------------
I can not get the fuelflow rising any longer. So it aint possible to start the engine. I have used the checlist flow and tried to use the P3D default scenario, as advised, but only this issue remain. All other knobs, etc. are working as it should.

Can anyone of you help me in solving this please? What am I doing wrong?

Thanks and regards,
Ed

Make sure fuel is in the tanks and the tank selector points to a tank with fuel (sorry, if that's to obvious  ).

Is the electrical fuel pump working? Maybe the circuit breaker is tripped.

Hello gulredrel,

Thanks for a fast reply. Hahah. Yes the're filled on both sides for about 50% and the fuelpump works.

Ed

Fuel selector is also set to both tanks position?

Did you preflight or visit the maintenance hangar? Maybe there is a clogged fuel filter blocking fuel flow?

Just to make sure. Are you using the shift + 4 menu to refuel? The default fuel and load manager will not work.
Kind Regards

Hello again,

None of these suggestions worked. So I reinstalled the aircraft and this made it working again. Why, I do not know.

Thanks for your both help!

Ed
