DME + European XPDR code

Post by Hetzenauer »

Hi!
After applying P3Dv4 HF1 today I noticed that the DME standalone function does not work. Switching it to remote shows the correct values.
Also the standard VFR code 7000 can no longer be assigned to the VFR button (like in FSX) by right-clicking or leaving IDT button while pressed and then VFR button because once I push VFR the IDT de-presses in P3D... Maybe I missed something here...
:(
Hopefully somebody can help me.
Thx in advance!
Björn

Hello,

can you give us more information about the issue please, what hardware you are using etc. Also when you updated was it a client install or a full p3d reinstall etc.

thanks,
Lewis

Sure!
I'm on win10 home with i7-4790 and GTX980, 16GB of RAM, P3D on 256GB SSD.
As recommended I did the client install of the P3D hotfix.
Also I uninstalled the 182 and re-installed it again. Issues remained.
Best, Björn

Now it gets a little weird...
I´ve set the a/c to Frankfurt (EDDF), no DME standalone (switch set to "FREQ") works.
At Munich (EDDM) however all the DMEs are received and displayed - either standalone or remote. The VOR MUN however, 11nm to the south, shows its DME reading only in RMT.
I placed the a/c to several other locations, sometimes it works, most of the times it doesn´t. Tested it with the A2A C172, the results were the same.
I can´t see a scheme behind this...
Best, Björn
