License issue

Post by xrobp »

I emailed support a week after I purchased the C182 (in January) and didn't receive a response. I tried again yesterday, but now I've seen that you do not offer support via email :( Below are my messages.

PS: I don't think it's a good thing that the only way you provide support is through a public forum. Just my feeling on the matter.

Hi there A2A people,

I’m writing again about my original purchase of the C182 for FSX. As I mentioned below, I realized I made a purchase mistake originally when buying the FSX-only version of this plane. I never received a reply to my original inquiry about upgrading to the FSX+P3D version, but discovered a way to make the plane work in P3D v3.

Well, here we are almost five months later and now P3D v4 is out. I would like to use this plane in P3D v4 but I don’t want to repurchase the entire thing. Can you convert my license to a P3D license (preferred), or can I pay the difference to upgrade to the FSX+P3D version as I originally asked about in my email below?

I would appreciate a response this time around as I really enjoy this plane, but don’t believe I should have to pay the entire amount for a P3D version!

Thank you,
-Rob

Hi there!

How are you today? As you can see from the included order confirmation, I ordered the Cessna 182 for FSX from you last weekend. I'm new to flight sims (well, it's been a LONG time, think Falcon 4) and this week I ended up picking up Prepar3d and I think I'll be using that going forward, rather than FSX. So, my question is, can I "upgrade" my purchase above to the version that also supports P3D? Or purchase the FSX+P3D version and refund the FSX-only version? I see that it costs a bit more, I am happy to pay the difference. I just hope I don't have to now re-purchase the entire product. It's been less than a week and that would make the FSX purchase a pretty expensive mistake!

Thank you,
-Rob
