Can't locate C182 in FSX..

I purchased and downloaded the C182, but can't locate it in FSX. I downloaded the file to my Desktop and copied it to the Steam file and extracted the C182 .zip file. What do I need to do the get the needed files to FSX Steam?
Thank you for any help you provide. I'm not familiar with A2A downloads....

It should simply be a case of running the installer that you unzipped from the zip archive you downloaded. It's usually a good idea to right click it and select "run as administrator" instead of simply double-clicking though. Provided that your installation of FSX-SE doesn't have any issues, the installer should find your copy of the sim and install the files into the relevant directories.

If the installer doesn't work as described above, it suggests there's any issue with your Windows registry entries for FSX-SE. For instance, a prior installation on the non-Steam version of FSX can cause complications.

Once you get the 182 installed okay, please also download and run the latest Accu-Sim update from here: http://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtop ... 23&t=57819.
