I have the Accu-Sim Cessna 182 Skylane and am using it with Prepar3D v3 Academic. After I made a hard landing that I thought must of damaged the prop, I went in to the maintenance hanger, and everything seemed to be fine, but when I started a flight the next day, and then went into the maintenance hanger, everything was red.
when I click on the red text on the screen, nothing happens, except for the battery, when I click it, it just changes to low voltage, and then when I click on it again, nothing happened. same when I click on the red text in the engine. When I click the "Complete Overhaul" button, nothing happens, and even when I try to do a compression check, it does nothing. Even when I press Shift + 3 and reset it to the new state, nothing happens.
I thought reinstalling the aircraft might help, but I cant seem to find out how to do that. When I try to uninstall it from the add or remove programs in the Windows control panel, it says it can't find the install.log file or something like that.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi caleb1,
Sounds like your Simconnect isn't installed properly. Check the FAQ thread here for instructions on how to install it:

Re: Repairing Damaged Parts
Hello,
a reinstall wouldn't do anything but potentially miss things up further with regard to updates. Is it repeatable or was it a one off, as it sounds like your simconnect stopped so a P3D restart should fix it if its a simple stop from P3D and then failing to start back up.
If simconnect is corrupt however then you will want to just run the simconnect installer and restart the computer.
Also worth just checking you are running the latest version of the Accu-sim C182 by running the latest Accu-sim updater.
thanks,
Lewis
