GTN 750 NAV not talking to to HSI

Hello,

When I'm tuned to the ILS frequency on my GTN 750 - Nav 1 if I'm in VLOC manual mode neither the HSI or default instruments respond and no glideslope shows up. In GPS mode I can only capture the LOC. I tried the same thing in another aircraft I have with the GTN 750 installed and it works both manually as well as autopilot approach mode. Am I missing something to get the glideslope to come in and or hand fly an ILS? Thanks!!

Hi and welcome to the forums.

Is your GTN updated? If not (there are some unresolved performance issues with versions 1.19 and ongoing which are still being investigated by Flight1, as far as I know), try dialing in the ILS frequency into your NAV2 and see if that drives the HSI/CDI1. IIRC, there was a mix-up between NAV1 and NAV2 in earlier versions... worth a shot!

Ah okay... I'll give NAV 2 a try. I'm reinstalling everything right now due to some other bugs so I'll make sure I have v1.20 of the GTN. Thanks for the help!
