Removing the Virtual Cockpit
Removing the Virtual Cockpit
Hello, I have a home cockpit with a 220 degree screen using 3 projectors with P3D and Viewgroups. I need to somehow remove the internal cockpit but leave the Prop and Wings visible. Can I edit the alpha channels in the textures to accomplish this? I realize you can use the 2d cockpit view but then you lose the wing and prop visibility. Thanks for any help!!

Ok, but when I do that (and maybe I am not doing it correctly) and then select the cockpit view it removes the whole fuselage as well and I just get an outside view. I need to be able to see the wings and prop. I am hoping that I am just doing something incorrectly.
Thanks Lewis!

Any other thoughts or ideas?

Currently it's not possible to remove the virtual cockpit and have the wings and propellers.

Been experimenting a new piece of software that's called ChasePlane (https://FSFXPackages.com), similar to EZDok but a lot easier to use. The program is still in Alpha, but already working great. Reading your question, I thought that perhaps one of these experimental settings I made, is coming close to your need: it's a forward view (so not a zoomed in view, which would give distorted scenery)

Perhaps an idea instead of a VC view without dashboard and prop?
