Hello,
I'm interested in flight simulation since the 90s and I know most of the strengths and weakness especially in practical application of the software.
Yesterday I bought from A2A „Cessna 182 Skylane for FS X“ (per FSpilotshop)
The graphics are excellent and very sharp on my UHD monitor.
I can handle the service well.
Also I updated with Accu-Sim 5_9_16.
Start ok but . . . .
Autopilot not working with FS X;
as soon as I turned on the AP I have problems to keep the ALT and the plane crashed.
The propellers were bent.
OK, I tried to repair the damage - I could not.
I restarted the flightsim, clicked C182 on. BEFORE I restarted the motor I turned on the light because it was dark. Suddenly the propeller bent.
I reinstalled the software and the same damage was shown again and i could not
fix the problem although I have not yet started the plane.
These Problems occur only with this aircraft from A2A.
FACT: ÂÂAs soon as I load C182 and switch the light the propellers bent. . . .
I'm very disappointed and extremely frustrated!
Please help!
Thank you!
Best regards,
René (LOWW)

Re: Autopilot not working with FS X . . .
You should review the instruction manual to understand the features in the A2A simulation. It sounds like you need to check the maintenance hangar to repair the aircraft. How exactly did you try to repair the damage?
A reinstall won't help as the data files that track usage are located in your my documents folder and need to be deleted separately.
The AP simulation is a faithful replica of the KAP 140 and cab not be used like the FSX default autopilot. You must use the real wworld procedures to operate the autopilot.
Did you set the autopilot barometric pressure and then at an altitude along with an appropriate horizontal and vertical mode? The real world autopilot manual from Bendix King should be referenced for instructions.
The A2A instruction manual can be found under your start menu where the A2A installer creates a folder under All Programs.

Hello and welcome to the forums,
not much to add to Oracles response at the moment other than welcome and remember to read through your product manual, from the first pages listing the requirements, (FSX updated, settings etc) to the pages regarding the maintenance hanger etc.
thanks,
Lewis
